This course provides a comprehensive study of the relationship between business and the law. It begins with a study of the American legal system and includes the topics of contracts, the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), business torts and crimes, agency and employment issues, product liability concepts, consumer 
protection, and the variety of ways in which a business may be legally organized.
For Business Law the Signature Assignment that I chose was my final project for the semester. The assignment was to come up with a partnership business and create a contract between you and your partner that showed all aspects of your business plan. Along with the contract portion we were required to create a powerpoint presentation, of which, we presented to the class for 5-10 minutes. In our presentation we were asked to explain our company and summarize the legal values we agreed upon.
